Our goal is simple: to preserve the unique heritage of this traditional British pub sport while making it accessible to the modern community.
Bell Target has always been the “people’s sport,” and we carry that forward today. We pride ourselves on being an inclusive club where beginners can learn the fundamentals of marksmanship without the pressure, and experienced shooters can sharpen their skills for league competition.
Most importantly, we value the social side as much as the shooting, and everyone is welcome. If we’re not in a league season, then you’ll find us having anything from a social practice session to dressing up and shooting with Nerf guns!
Our home location of the Bicton village club has a licensed bar, spacious parking, and most importantly, a friendly atmosphere.
Shrewsbury League
We are part of the Shrewsbury and District Air Rifle Association League. We compete in two league events each year against other league teams – the Winter League and the Summer League.
Shooting for Charity
We are proud to support charitable causes in the course of our events and activities. Our charity fundraising is for Birmingham Children’s Hospital. In 2024 we raised over £1500 for this cause.

We are an affiliated organisation with the National Small-
Bore Rifle Association (NSRA). We’re fully insured through Marsh Insurance
